As a Host you are the heart of your Local Food Club where meals and stories are shared. At each monthly meetup, you will lead the event, facilitate meaningful discussions, and ensure an inclusive, engaging experience for all participants. As a host you will:
Plan and Facilitate the Gathering
Organise the meetup’s programming, choose the monthly activity, and lead discussions.
Coordinate Logistics
Arrange the venue setup, materials, and communication with participants.
Encourage Participation
Invite attendees to share their stories, dishes, experiences, and commitments to our rich foodscapes within the local food club’s online groups and offline events.
Work with a Co-Host
Mentor your Co-Host for a smooth transition into the leadership role for the next month.
Assign Responsibility for Documentation
Ensure someone captures photos, videos, and key moments for storytelling on social media and the Local Food Club’s digital platform.
Share Feedback
Provide insights and logistical updates to the Super Locavore and The Locavore team after the meetup.
