Pritika M. | Community and Culture Lead
Pritika is an organiser, collaborator, and educator from Chennai with roots in permaculture farming at Pari Panai, community-building, and intersectional climate work. She has led FICUS (Foundation for Intersectional Climate and Urban Sciences), rehabilitated horses through natural horsemanship, and recently completed a diploma in anti-caste mental health practices. Grounded in feminist and anti-oppressive frameworks, she is passionate about creating spaces for dialogue and community kinship.
She’s excited to join The Locavore in amplifying stories of people, place, and sustainable food practices—especially those often left out of dominant narratives. Outside of work, she enjoys writing cheeky personal essays, lifting at her local ladies’ gym, and switching between the piano, guitar, and ukulele depending on the chords.
