Shreeja Mahila Milk Producer Company

Region:

Shreeja Mahila Milk Producer Company Limited was established by the National Dairy Development Board in July 2014, with its headquarters in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It was built to serve small and marginal women milk producers who faced structural hurdles in the formal dairy economy. They function by aggregating and procuring milk from small producers, and giving them a remunerative price in return. In 2024-25, it procured an average of 6,80,149 litres of milk per day across 1,700 villages from over 1,13,989 member-producers, with a turnover of ₹1,105 crore. Its board of directors is composed entirely of women producers—Sreedevi Siddareddygari as Chairman alongside 10 Producer Directors—making governance as well as ownership women-led. Training and development, producer institution building, and grievance redressal are all built into its membership’s infrastructure.
