It was such a warm and welcoming experience! Kudos to Ann Mary J and Prema for making it flow smoothly. I loved the interesting food and the conversation. Big thanks and shoutout to The Locavore for bringing us all together.
Anupama
Doing anything for the first time is always the most difficult, but Ann Mary J & Prema John steered and pulled off the first LFC meetup effortlessly. Thank you for setting the momentum for such great camaraderie. It sure didn’t feel like the first time, and the talk, the food, and the general vibe was a real treasure!

What We Loved
Kappa Chammandi, a popular Kerala-style dish made with kappa (tapioca), coconut, green chillies, and shallots, pounded together for a coarse texture.
Watermelon rinds, repurposed into a savoury kathi roll filling!
A full-house at Thiruvananthapuram’s first LFC meetup!
MEET YOUR HOST
Ann Mary J is a pastry chef based in Thiruvananthapuram and runs a cloud kitchen named Elize patisserie.
