Purba: Byloom Canteen has authentic Bengali stuff.
Apala: Not really iconic, but some places around that area where I enjoy the food are Soy Yum and Karma Kettle. The Tea Place was good earlier, not sure how it is after the change… Pico, Chapter 2… eguloi ekhon mone porche.
Anamika: The cafe by Aamar Khamaar—iconic in true sense.
Turjo: The food at Byloom Canteen is also very good. Camphari in Gariahat was good too, but the standard is not up to the mark now. Das Cabin for mutton kosha and Moghlai paratha.
