Ayushi Sinha

LFC LUCKNOW
January-June 2026

Ayushi Sinha is a fashion designer based in Lucknow and a Super Locavore with a deep love for food. A creative at heart, she enjoys expressing herself through both textiles and cooking. In her kitchen, Ayushi likes experimenting with flavours, thoughtful plating, and hosting intimate gatherings. For her, food—like fashion—is a way to tell stories, slow down, and bring people together over warm meals and conversation.
How did you first come to be involved with the Local Food Club?

I have following The Locavore for a while. I saw the meetup link for my city and have been attending regularly since the second LFC meetup in Lucknow. I have become friends with a few core members of the club who are regular attendees like me.

One food trend you’re loving right now, and one you’re ready to see less of.
The only food trend I am loving right now is the yogic diet and millet recipes. People have only recently become aware of the different types of millets, even though it has been part of the Indian diet for ages.

A trend I can see less of is the use of processed/commercial cheese in every streetfood recipe.

What’s something you’ll almost always find in your fridge?

Homemade Curd! I make a fresh batch at home, so easy and so versatile!

What’s an LFC moment or memory that you’ll never forget?

The December meetup! I hosted and around 15 people turned up. The second activity which was heads up was so much fun and such a good ice breaker. Everyone enjoyed and went home happy

How do you imagine your Local Food Club growing and flourishing over time?

I imagine the Local Food Club growing into a warm, welcoming community where people come together over thoughtfully prepared meals and shared experiences. What may begin as small, intimate gatherings can gradually evolve into regular themed dinners, and collaborative events that celebrate seasonal ingredients, local producers, and diverse cuisines.

By nurturing genuine connections and a sense of belonging, the club can flourish into a trusted circle that values slow hosting, meaningful conversations, and beautifully curated experiences. Ultimately, I see it growing organically through word of mouth and shared passion, while always retaining the warmth, authenticity, and personal touch that make it feel like home.
