December ’25 Kacheripady

Spice-slick fingers, monsoon gossip, and fish that tastes like home. LFC Kochi is a flavour ferry through old markets and coastal kitchens. Bring an appetite— and maybe a napkin.

What Members Said

Thank you Vishishta and Aparna for being such wonderful hosts. It was so nice to have met so many of you for the first time.

Cynthia

The evening felt so effortless (saying that whilst understanding the effort that goes into hosting these meetups). The month’s theme of Street Food, and the activities were managed in an engrossing and fun way.

Nithin

What We Loved

Thattu Dosa with Sambar and Chutney—thick, spongy dosas, served with sambar and coconut-peanut chutney. Soft at the centre, crisp at the edges.

Peanut Sundal—a South Indian snack, especially common in Tamil Nadu, made by tempering boiled legumes with mustard seeds, curry leaves, chillies, and coconut. This version uses peanuts, keeping it simple and nourishing.

Roasted peanuts wrapped in paper cones, pure street-style—a small but telling detail of the care and effort people put into their LFC potluck contributions.
