WHERE WE MET
Spiegel in Salt Lake City, Kolkata is a stylish, modern restaurant blending global and local flavours with inventive plating and a relaxed, contemporary vibe.
An evening well spent with such lovely people, and ofcourse, the food.

What We Loved
Veg Chop—a Bengali snack made from mashed vegetables shaped into patties, crumb-coated, and fried till crisp. Warm, spiced, and comforting, it’s a tea-time staple on streets and in homes alike.
Goyna Bori—sun-dried lentil dumplings from Bengali cuisine, these are shaped into intricate designs and dried slowly. Lightly fried or added to curries, they bring crunch, texture, and a sense of occasion to everyday meals.
Kolkata-style Muri—puffed rice tossed with mustard oil, green chillies, chopped onion, peanuts, and a squeeze of lemon.
