January ’26, Bavdhan

Old soul, young blood. LFC Pune’s tables brim with banter, bhakarwadi, family recipes, and friendships. Come as you are, leave a little fuller.

What We Loved

Rajgira Halwa, made with sprouted rajgira flour from Two Brothers Organic Farms, a partner producer of The Locavore. We love seeing active support for food producers come alive at the potluck when attendees choose to cook with ingredients sourced thoughtfully and share them with the community. You can learn more about Two Brothers Organic Farms here

A glimpse into what people wrote about the actions they’re choosing to take; buying directly from producers where possible, pooling resources to support those in need, and finding small, practical ways to align everyday food choices with the theme.

Attendees brought along products from local producers they know and trust, including flour from Two Brothers Organic Farms in Pune and Koraput Arabiaca coffee from Kruti Coffee in Odisha.
