I had great fun yesterday. I liked the ‘turn your leftover ingredient into a new dish’ game too. Thank you Krutika for hosting and Punilrajsinh for co-hosting. The food was delicious, and the stories were interesting!

What We Loved

At LFC Ahmedabad, leftover rice, mixed veggies, and a bit of sooji were turned into savoury pakoras — crisp outside, soft inside, and perfectly on theme for LFC’s ‘Love Your Leftovers’. 



Thepla Chips with dip and salad, a Gujarati staple’s makeover where day-old theplas are cut and crisped into chips, served with a fresh salad. 

Cold khichdi mixed with spices, shaped into cutlets, and shallow-fried till crisp. Soft inside, golden outside this Khichdi ni Pattice is the ultimate second act for yesterday’s comfort food.
