Spice-slick fingers, monsoon gossip, and fish that tastes like home. LFC Kochi is a flavour ferry through old markets and coastal kitchens. Bring an appetite— and maybe a napkin.

WHERE WE MET
French Toast in Kochi is a cozy bakery known for its artisanal French toasts and indulgent baked goods. It offers a warm, inviting space that is perfect for sweet cravings and relaxed meetups.
We had a small and intimate gathering at LFC Kochi this evening. Thank you all for coming, and for sharing wonderful ideas, making us all think about how we can support local producers and helping us take the next steps. Thank you Cynthia, Shweta V, Rashel Suparna, and Ajit for volunteering with me for this meetup. The cherry on the cake was having ChefTZac in our meetup today; it made our conversation all the more intentional.

What We Loved
Brought by ChefTZac as part of our theme, Supporting Your Food Producers, this was a curated collection of products from The Locavore’s partner producers, including Wild Harvest, Hill Wild, and OOO Farms. Discover more about them and explore their offerings on our website here.
Tulshya Kanji with Beef Keema and Cherupayar-Kohlrabi Salad—a layered plate pairing kanji (a traditional fermented gruel made by soaking grains or rice in water and allowing it to naturally sour) with spiced beef mince and a fresh salad of cherupayar (green gram) and kohlrabi.
ChefTZac, from The Locavore team , joined the LFC Kochi meetup, spending time with attendees, sharing insights from his work, and engaging in thoughtful conversations around the theme.
