Inspired by Italian basil pesto, this versatile spread is made with carrot tops that lend it a slightly peppery flavour, and roasted cashews and peanuts that add richness.

You’ll be buying directly from the producer. The Locavore does not handle orders, payments, delivery, or customer support.

Every part of the vegetable—be it softened coriander or yellow carrot tops—is completely utilised.

Use it the way you would any pesto, tossed through pasta, spread on sandwiches, or added to salads for an easy lift. It also works well as a dip or stirred into warm rice or vegetables when you want something fresh and herb-forward. Because the flavour is fairly rounded, it’s easy to use across different kinds of meals without much adjustment.

The Misfits upcycles fruits and vegetables to make dips, spreads, and snacks. They source produce from farmers around Jaipur—produce that is typically rejected based on the market’s standards of appearance.
