Made from heirloom sugarcane grown on Two Brothers’ own farm in Bodhani, this jaggery has a rich caramel flavour.
You’ll be buying directly from the producer. The Locavore does not handle orders, payments, delivery, or customer support.
This jaggery is made in a gurhal, a traditional jaggery-making plant.
Use it in place of sugar where you want a deeper, more rounded sweetness, especially in tea, coffee, porridges, or simple desserts. It also works well in traditional preparations like kheer, laddoos, or chutneys, or stirred into warm dishes where it melts easily and adds both sweetness and body. You can also eat it as a side to your daily meals (the trick is to mix it with ghee!)
Two Brothers Organic Farms started out as a family farm, breeding native cows, and growing fruits and vegetables without using any chemical inputs. Today, apart from farming on their own land, they work with farmers across India to source naturally grown produce and make value-added products.
