Projects Intern

About the Role

At The Locavore, our motivations are centred around creating impact within the food system. Each of our projects is designed to engage more deeply with communities and ecosystems, and document their foodways. With three projects underway, we need your help to grow the scope of these initiatives sustainably.

As a Projects Intern, you will work with our team to conceptualise, plan, and execute campaigns within each project, including community-led initiatives, storytelling, and events. Your skills in research will help us collect and analyse data from the field, and maintain transparency with our partner organisations. Your knowledge of best-practices in the field will ensure that the work we do is valuable and consistent with our ethos.

To highlight the work we do through these initiatives, you will work with our marketing and communications departments to develop meaningful content. With your help, we hope to see our projects to their full potential.
