Join us at the landmark 10th edition of Serendipity Arts Festival with immersive curations and workshops that encourage attendees to examine what the futures of food—and its disappearance—looks like in an increasingly precarious world.
Foodways are faced with several crises. As climates become warmer, coastlines shift, and local ecosystems come under threat, we wanted to ask harder questions probing the futures of food; on what we remember, what we choose to forget, and what might disappear unsuspectingly in the decades to come.
Across multi-sensory experiences, workshops, and hands-on sessions, we hope to encourage visitors to reflect on their own relationships with food, and the landscapes and people that sustain it. Here’s an overview of some of the curations we have planned this year:
