Yellow mustard grains from Kuninda’s own farm are aged, cured, and stone-ground, and then combined with Kashmiri chillies to make this vibrant, pungent mustard.

You’ll be buying directly from the producer. The Locavore does not handle orders, payments, delivery, or customer support.

The yellow mustard is hand-ground in a stone chakki that belonged to the founder Radhika Singh’s great-grandmother.

Use it in small amounts as a condiment, alongside everyday meals like dal and rice or roti, where it adds both heat and sharpness. The heat from chilli along with a pungent mustard kick makes it the perfect dipping sauce for fried fish or chicken. You can also spread lightly in sandwiches and wraps when you want something more punchy.

Kuninda was set up with the intention of reimagining mustard and exploring inventive ways to use fruits grown on their family’s seven-decades-old farm located in the Terai belt, an eco-region at the base of the Himalayas.
