This tangy pickle combines sun-dried raw jackfruit and Vnya’s mustard oil along with hand-pounded spices.
You’ll be buying directly from the producer. The Locavore does not handle orders, payments, delivery, or customer support.
Have it alongside a meal, the way you would any pickle, especially with simple dishes like dal and rice or roti. It also pairs well with parathas or curd rice, or added in small amounts to bring a sharper, spiced note to everyday meals.
Made using a recipe from the founder Supriya Surin’s late mother, Mamta Sarin, this pickle is boldly spiced, and has a deeply satisfying, meaty texture.
Vnya is a family-run operation bringing organic, seasonal produce from 300 smallholder farmers across Uttarakhand. By maintaining close ties with farmers and personally visiting their farms, they bring high-quality ingredients that are naturally grown and free from any chemical inputs.
