About the Role
There is no actualising our mission of ‘doing good through food’ without effective and honest communication. As we try to create a public repository of all that we have learned and are learning about the Indian food system, we need your help in translating this knowledge into accessible content that accurately reflects the importance of talking about food in India.
Your work will include writing and editing text for the Locavore’s website, and our Millet Revival Project website in partnership with Rainmatter Foundation, which host diverse content including stories, interviews, and events. Your knowledge of WordPress will be useful to ensure timely updating of both websites, and uploading of content onto the websites in line with the voice and design of the platform. Any skills you may have in SEO will help us reach our target audience, diverse groups of individuals committed to engaging with the food system meaningfully.
You will also work with the marketing and editorial teams to conduct digital media campaigns and develop social media initiatives, which will include writing and creating visual creatives for social media campaigns. You will assist our digital media team in generating content tailored for diverse digital platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, and Grove. Through this role, you would be fundamental in shaping The Locavore’s digital voice.
