The sun-dried mahua flowers bring a distinctive natural sweetness to these bars, balanced by cocoa and the nuttiness of bajra. Almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, and muskmelon seeds add plenty of crunch as well, making these energy bars especially satisfying in both flavour and texture.
Wild Harvest works with mahua and other forest foods with a focus on ethical harvesting and processing. Through its work, it seeks to create wider markets for mahua-based foods while supporting communities in Jillingsering, Dipatoli, Gautamdhara, Koynardih, and Hapatbeda villages under the Guiridih Panchayat in Jharkhand.
