Drizzle the syrup over pancakes, waffles or oats, stir a little into a hot latté, or use it to sweeten yoghurt and simple desserts. Start with a small amount since the flavour and sweetness are both quite concentrated.

Made with mahua flowers and no added sugar, this syrup has an intense sweetness with floral, caramel-like notes that give it far more character and versatility than a neutral sweetener.

Wild Harvest works with mahua and other forest foods with a focus on ethical harvesting and processing. Through its work, it seeks to create wider markets for mahua-based foods while supporting communities in Jillingsering, Dipatoli, Gautamdhara, Koynardih, and Hapatbeda villages under the Guiridih Panchayat in Jharkhand.
