This dish gets its name from the historic split in the Congress Party in 1969 at Lalbagh, Bangalore, which inspired a local condiment shop to name this peanut snack ‘Congress kadlekai’.

Ingredients
Coriander | 1 handfull |
---|---|
Onion | 2, large |
Lime | 2 |
Split, roasted, and salted peanuts from the local bakery | 200 grams |
Red chill powder | 1 teaspoon |
Instructions
Finely chop coriander leaves and onions.
Mix them in a bowl with peanuts.
Add chilli powder and squeeze in the juice of 2 limes.
Mix all the ingredients.
Serve as a snack.
