Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategies and Digital Presence:
• Develop and lead marketing strategies that highlight our collaborations with producer partners, impact-centric projects, and narrative-driven documentation.
• Orchestrate campaigns across various channels, including social media platforms, newsletters, and The Locavore’s website.
• Conceptualize and design captivating promotional materials such as posters, merchandise, and digital content.
• Manage and enhance our online presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Utilize your understanding of marketing trends and digital dynamics to engage and grow our audience effectively.
Event Planning and Logistics:
• Lead the planning and execution of events across diverse regions, aligning them with The Locavore’s mission and objectives.
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, and sponsors to ensure seamless logistical arrangements.
• Oversee budget management for events, ensuring cost-effective and impactful execution.
• Provide detailed attention to the planning and logistics of each event, ensuring flawless execution and meaningful engagement.
Strategic Communications:
• Develop clear, consistent, and engaging messaging that communicates our mission, values, and initiatives to a broad audience.
• Drive the creation and dissemination of narratives that resonate with various stakeholders within the food system.
• Oversee all communication channels, both internal and external, ensuring they align with our strategic goals.
• Craft compelling content that showcases our impact and initiatives through newsletters, press releases, and other media.
Team Leadership and Management:
• Lead and manage the marketing and events team, including junior associates and leads handling social media, outreach, events, and communications.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring that all team members are aligned with The Locavore’s goals and objectives.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Community Engagement:
• Cultivate community engagement through intentional communication strategies.
• Foster enduring connections among diverse stakeholders within the food system.
• Encourage participation and involvement from the community in The Locavore’s events and initiatives.
