You will be responsible for developing people-focused initiatives, supporting team growth, and maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
People & Team Development:
• Design and implement strategies for employee growth, professional development, and team-building activities.
• Create clear career pathways, learning opportunities, and mentorship structures within the organization.
• Work with team leads to identify skill gaps and design training programs to enhance team capabilities.
Culture & Employee Experience:
• Foster a work culture that aligns with The Locavore’s values, ensuring a positive and inspiring workplace.
• Organize team-wide initiatives that promote collaboration, inclusivity, and well-being.
• Conduct regular check-ins with employees to understand their challenges, feedback, and aspirations.
• Ensure that new hires are seamlessly integrated into the team through a well-structured onboarding process.
HR Operations & Policies:
• Develop and oversee policies related to recruitment, onboarding, compensation, leaves, and team benefits.
• Ensure compliance with workplace policies, including The Locavore’s POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Policy.
• Maintain structured HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and performance records.
• Support managers in performance reviews and feedback mechanisms to help employees grow.
Talent Acquisition & Hiring:
• Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and hiring talent aligned with The Locavore’s vision.
• Create engaging job descriptions, manage the hiring process, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Develop recruitment strategies that prioritize diversity, inclusivity, and equitable opportunities.
Employee Well-being & Support:
• Create and implement initiatives that support mental health, work-life balance, and employee happiness.
• Be a go-to person for conflict resolution, ensuring a safe and respectful work environment for all employees.
• Design and facilitate well-being programs, flexible work arrangements, and feedback-driven improvements.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Experience in HR, organizational development, or a people-centric leadership role.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with empathy and efficiency.
• A problem solver who can mediate conflicts, address challenges, and create a supportive workplace.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, talent acquisition strategies, and employee engagement methods.
